The LuciPac Pen allows rapid detection of food and microbial related residues on product contact surfaces as a monitoring tool for the effectiveness of implemented cleaning and disinfection. The quantitative detection of the intra- and extracellular Adenosine Triphosphates (ATP) as well as Adenosine Monophosphate (AMP) is carried out in the portable luminometer Lumitester SMART (ZSMART).
